The Bridgeport Hospital REACH Program held its first golf outing in October, raising awareness and critical funding for services for children, adolescents and adults facing emotional, behavioral and psychiatric challenges.

On Oct. 17, Bridgeport Hospital’s REACH Program held its first golf outing – a day on the course with a powerful purpose.

REACH is a lifeline for more than 1,000 children, adolescents and adults in Greater Bridgeport who face emotional, behavioral and psychiatric challenges. Through intensive outpatient care, REACH empowers individuals to overcome obstacles, build resilience and transform their lives.

The golf outing raised awareness and over $37,000 to keep REACH accessible for those who need it most and to support mental health services in the community. Special thanks were extended to the 113 golfers; event Gold Sponsor The Malfettone Family Charitable Trust; Silver Sponsor Teamsters Local Union 1150; and more than 20 generous tee sponsors.
