Alisa Savetamal, MD, director of The Connecticut Burn Center at Bridgeport Hospital, and assistant clinical professor, General Surgery, Trauma and Surgical Critical Care, Yale School of Medicine, was recently named to the Board of Governors of the American College of Surgeons (ACS) for the American Burn Association (ABA). In this role, Dr. Savetamal will act as a liaison between ABA surgeons and ACS Regents, helping to facilitate communication between the two organizations and ensure surgeon voices are heard.
