Pink Pledge raises money and breast cancer awareness during October

The Norma Pfriem Breast Center (NPBC) at Bridgeport Hospital, which is a part of Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale New Haven, held its annual Pink Pledge during October. The event is a month-long community awareness and fundraising campaign to support NPBC patients and programs. Businesses, schools and towns participated. NPBC also held its own events – the Kickoff in Fairfield and Strides for Strength in Bridgeport.
