YNHHS employees will be served a new intranet in the coming months. SharePoint 2016 sites (including the intranet and other departmental sites) are being migrated to the cloud (Microsoft 365), according to the Digital and Technology Solutions (DTS) team.
This migration will move the current SharePoint environment to SharePoint Online, providing a modern platform with enhanced collaboration tools and improved usability across the organization. The new intranet will have an intuitive interface designed to be faster, more flexible and mobile-friendly.
DTS is contacting site owners as their intranet sites come up for migration to the new platform. Site users will receive occasional updates on the migration progress. Existing content including lists, libraries, files and documents will be migrated as is.
