SkyHealth takes flight

SkyHealth, the new air ambulance service jointly run by YNHHS and North Shore-LIJ Health System, made its first official flight Nov. 14. SkyHealth’s Eurocopter EC 135 P2+ departed from its Long Island base to transport a patient from Lawrence and Memorial Hospital in New London to Yale- New Haven Hospital before flying to its Connecticut base at Bridgeport Hospital.
