Allen Hsiao, MD, named YNHHS, YSM CMIO

Allen Hsiao, MD, was appointed chief medical information officer (CMIO) for Yale New Haven Health System (YNHHS) and Yale School of Medicine (YSM). In addition to his leadership of the Medical Information Officer team, Dr. Hsiao is responsible for data and analytical services that will help YNHHS improve the quality and cost-effectiveness of patient care and business services throughout YNHHS and Yale Medical Group.

Dr. Hsiao is on faculty at YSM as an associate professor of pediatrics and emergency medicine, and continues to practice medicine in the Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital ED.
