Health system leaders joined staff to cut the ribbon on a new YNHHS Urgent Care Center in Wallingford.
Yale New Haven Health recently held a ribbon-cutting to celebrate the opening of its 22nd urgent care location, at 1226 South Broad St., Wallingford. The facility includes six exam rooms, an onsite testing lab with same-day results and a staff of eight. Urgent care centers can treat minor wounds, sprains, strains, burns and other injuries, along with strep throat, flu and ear and eye infections. The centers are also ideal for completing school, camp and sports physicals; and performing X-rays for dislocated joints, fractures and pneumonia. Patients can walk in, or visit
