Congratulations to staff with Bridgeport Hospital’s North East 9 (NE9), who received the Capacity Champions Cup for the first time. NE9 met its daily discharge target 42 of 62 days (68 percent) in July and August. The award is part of Yale New Haven Health’s efforts to improve patient throughput by ensuring that patients who are clinically ready to leave the acute-care setting experience a safe and timely discharge.
Yale New Haven Hospital's SP 6-4 earns Capacity Champions Cup
Congratulations to staff with Surgery (SP 6-4), who received Yale New Haven Hospital’s Capacity Champions Cup for the first time. The award recognizes units that meet their discharge target the most days in the previous month. SP 6-4 met their target 25 out of 31 days (81 percent) in August. The award is part of Yale New Haven Health’s efforts to improve patient throughput by ensuring that patients who are clinically ready to leave the acute-care setting experience a safe and timely discharge.
