Yale New Haven Center for Emergency Preparedness and Disaster Response is committed to developing and delivering services that advance health care planning, preparedness and response for emergency events and disasters through collaborative partnerships and coordinated programs within Connecticut, across the nation and around the world.
With domestic and international partners ranging from the Connecticut Department of Public Health, the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to the American Medical Association, the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, NORAD/U.S. NORTHCOM and the Pan American Health Organization, the center delivers the following programs and services:
