A study in generosity

mutual respect committee

Thank you to the YNHH employees who donated nearly 13,000 items to the Mutual Respect Committee’s annual school supply drive this past summer. Committee members delivered notebooks, crayons, backpacks, pens and many other items to New Haven Reads and Hill Central School in New Haven Oct. 17. Students who had just arrived from hurricane-damaged Puerto Rico were among the youngsters who received much-needed supplies. Participating in the donation were committee members (l-r): Sarah Kernizan, senior talent acquisition partner, Human Resources, vice chair; Lisa Sheehan, physical therapist; Tina Jennings, supervisor, Volunteer and Guest Services, committee chair; Laura Dawson-Johnson, scheduler; and Alberta Murdock, physical therapist. They were joined by Daniel Williams, maintenance mechanic, Plant Engineering; and Christine Garcia, Hill Central parent liaison.
