Experiential learning
Through Yale New Haven’s School to Career program, 17 New Haven high school and college students considering healthcare careers recently spent five weeks in clinical and non-clinical departments throughout the hospital and health system. The students worked with employees in a variety of areas, including Nursing, the Institute for Excellence, Heart and Vascular Center, Post-Anesthesia Care Unit and Adult Primary Care.
