Foster G. McGaw celebration May 22, 29

Employees are invited to celebrate Yale New Haven Hospital winning the 2017 Foster G. McGaw Prize for Excellence in Community Service: 2 - 3:30 pm Tuesday, May 22, Saint Raphael Campus Cafeteria, lower level; or 2 - 3:30 pm Tuesday, May 29, York Street Campus East Pavilion Cafeteria special events area. Each year, just one of the more than 5,500 U.S. hospitals receives the prize, presented by the American Hospital Association to a hospital that has distinguished itself by efforts to improve the health and well-being of the people in its communities.

Financial fair June 6, 7

YNHH will hold benefits financial fairs June 6 and 7 in four locations. The fairs will include representatives from Fidelity Investments, Mercer Voluntary Benefits, Bank of America, Key Bank, Healthcare Financial Federal Credit Union, EdAssist and CTrides, along with the Employee and Family Resources, HOME and YNHHS livingwellCARES programs. YNHHS Benefits staff also will be available at each location to answer questions about the annual Cash Account Pension Plan statement and Fidelity Investments Retirement Update statement employees will receive at home in the mail during the coming weeks. Fair dates and times:

• Wednesday, June 6: 9 - 10 am, Medical Center South; and 11:30 am - 3:30 pm, York Street Campus East Pavilion Cafeteria special events area
• Thursday, June 7: 8:30 - 10 am, Hawley Lane office, Trumbull, second floor elevator area; and 11:30 am - 3:30 pm, Saint Raphael Campus cafeteria

YNHH annual report available online

The Yale New Haven Hospital 2017 Annual Report is now available online. The report includes stories of patients whose medical conditions were improved by the skill and compassion of YNHH staff. The report also includes a message with highlights of the past fiscal year, annual financial and statistical information, lists of hospital and medical staff leadership and names of donors from the past year.
