Yale New Haven Hospital team captains are looking for fellow employees, their family members and friends to join one of the hospital's teams in the 2016 American Heart Association New Haven Heart Walk, Saturday, May 7, at Savin Rock in West Haven. Registration is at 9 am; the walk begins at 10 am. Yale New Haven Health System is a walk sponsor and, with Yale University and Yale School of Medicine, has set a fundraising goal of $430,000. The event will also feature kids' activities, health screenings and information, healthy snacks and lunch. Well-behaved dogs on leashes are welcome to walk, too. YNHHS participants will each receive a Heart Walk t-shirt. To register, visit www.newhavenheartwalk.org and choose Yale New Haven Health/Yale University as the company.
