Urology Servics celebrates Movember Mondays

YNHHS Urology Services is holding free lectures, screenings and information tables to mark "Movember" and encourage men to commit to a healthier lifestyle. All lectures are at 6 pm Mondays. Transforming Healthcare Grand Rounds Nov. 10

Employees are invited to Transforming Healthcare Grand Rounds, 5 - 6:30 pm Tuesday, Nov. 10, TAC Auditorium, Yale School of Medicine. The speaker is Gordon Mosser, MD, senior fellow, Division of Health Policy and Management, University of Minnesota School of Public Health. Registration is not required. Celebrations for employee veterans Nov. 11

To celebrate National Veterans Awareness Week, YNHH is holding appreciation celebrations Wednesday, Nov. 11. All YNHH employees who are past or current active, reserve or guard service members are invited. A breakfast will be held 7 - 9 am outside the seminar room at 55 Park St., York Street Campus; and a buffet lunch, noon - 1:30 pm, cancer center conference room, Saint Raphael Campus.

Depression lecture Nov. 12

A free health education lecture, "New Developments in the Treatment of Depression" will be held at 6:30 pm Thursday, Nov. 12, 55 Park St. auditorium. The lecture, sponsored by the Yale New Haven Hospital Auxiliary, will feature Gerard Sanacora, MD, PhD, scientific director of the YNHH Interventional Psychiatry Program, director of the Yale Depression Research Program and professor of psychiatry at Yale School of Medicine.
