Richard Lisitano has been named president of Lawrence + Memorial Healthcare (Lawrence + Memorial Hospital, Westerly Hospital and VNA of Southeastern Connecticut) and executive vice president of Yale New Haven Health. Lisitano joined Yale New Haven Hospital in 1986 as assistant director of Pharmacy and was most recently senior vice president of Operations. His contributions to Yale New Haven Health include the growth of various service lines, including Urology, Neurosciences, Oncology, Orthopedics and Digestive Health; and developing/executing/integrating the Epic electronic medical record across five campuses. Lisitano earned his BS in pharmacy from the University of Connecticut and his MS from Ohio State University.
Ena Williams, RN, PhD, Yale New Haven Hospital chief nursing officer; Linda Roney, RN, EdD, clinical nurse, Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital Bridgeport Campus; and Anna Cerra, RN, DNP, chief nursing officer, Greenwich Hospital, will be inducted into the American Academy of Nursing 2023 Class of Fellows in October. They are among 253 distinguished nurse leaders nationwide recognized for their substantial, sustained,and outstanding impact on health and health care.
