Through our close collaboration with Yale School of Medicine and Yale Center for Clinical Investigation (YCCI), we create a seamless academic ecosystem where clinical practice, education, and research are fully integrated. This partnership connects Yale New Haven Health clinicians with Yale’s scientific leadership, enabling multidisciplinary collaboration, streamlined clinical research operations, and shared governance all through unified IRB support. Together, we accelerate clinical trials, expand access to emerging therapies, and ensure that discoveries made in the lab rapidly inform patient care across our system.
Yale Cancer Center and Smilow Cancer Hospital
Through the Yale Cancer Center and Smilow Cancer Hospital network, we collaborate with other hospitals and programs, opening clinical trials to patients throughout the region and providing people with greater access to comprehensive clinical programs for cancer care. The Yale Cancer Center is the only National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer center in Connecticut.
