On Feb. 18, Yale New Haven Health was scheduled to implement a new ambulatory telehealth platform for one-on-one video visits with patients. Epic Video Client (EVC) is designed to improve workflow and efficiency by:
EVC replaces MyChart + Zoom for one-on-one visits; YNHHS continues to use MyChart + Zoom for group video visits.

The YNHHS and Yale School of Medicine Orthopedics department has 52 faculty members across nine specialized divisions.
Patients who need help with food, transportation, housing and/or utilities now have a list of resources automatically included in their after visit summaries (AVS). YNHHS screens all patients for social drivers of health (SDoH) needs in ambulatory and inpatient settings for the hospitals and Northeast Medical Group. The resource list in the AVS is from Unite Us and includes services and providers near patients’ zip codes. For more information check the SDoH clinical pathway in Epic.
