| Description |
Neurocritical care relies on monitoring multiple physiological signals, often requiring separate devices and fragmented workflows. This creates gaps in data integration and limits the ability to detect early signs of deterioration. NeuroProbe is an implantable monitoring system that integrates intracranial pressure, EEG, temperature, and oxygenation into a single platform. By providing continuous, multimodal data, it enables more comprehensive and timely assessment of patients with acute neurological conditions. |
| Target Impact |
This approach has the potential to improve early detection of neurological decline, reduce response times, and support more informed clinical decision making in high-acuity settings. |
| Project Lead's Vision |
The team aims to redefine neurocritical monitoring by moving from fragmented signals to a unified view of brain physiology. The long-term goal is to establish a platform that supports earlier intervention, improves outcomes, and scales across neurocritical care environments. |
