Curiosity and creativity were on full display at Kids’ Health Discovery Day on May 9, when families joined Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital and Greenwich Hospital for an engaging afternoon of hands-on learning. Held at the Bruce Museum, the event brought the science of medicine to life through interactive activities in the museum’s science gallery, helping children explore how the body works and how health care connects to the world around them.
The event would not have been possible without the dedication of the volunteers who shared their time and expertise, as well as the families who came ready to learn and explore. Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital and Greenwich Hospital also extend their gratitude to the Bruce Museum for its partnership and for providing a welcoming space for this unique, inspiring experience.
Kids’ Discovery Day, held at the Bruce Museum, featured the ever-popular Teddy Bear Clinic, where children had the opportunity to care for their favorite stuffed toys alongside pediatric specialists, nurses and staff.
