Robert P. Tepley, PhD

Dr. Robert P. Tepley is the Founder and Managing Member of Neuropsychology Consultants, LLC, established in 2002. He has medical staff privileges at Yale-New Haven Hospital and a faculty appointment in the Yale School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry. As a highly sought after clinical neuropsychologist, he has assessed thousands of individuals with diverse problems and concerns. His practice includes outpatient neuropsychological evaluations, inpatient consultations for the Yale New Haven Hospital Acute Rehabilitation Unit, forensic neuropsychological evaluations and case reviews, and expert witness testimony.

Dr. Tepley earned his Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin in 1998, where he won the prestigious Benjamin and Dorothy Fruchter Annual Prize for Excellence in Educational Psychology Research at the Doctoral Level (“A Critical Analysis of the Recovered Memory Controversy”). He specialized in clinical neuropsychology during his doctoral program at the University of Texas at Austin, internship at the Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital in Massachusetts, and two-year post-doctoral residency at the Norwalk Hospital Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.

He also earned his M.A. degree in Human Development and Family Relations from the University of Connecticut, completing the Marriage and Family Therapy program at UConn in 1993. He received his undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Dayton in 1989.
