Norrisa Haynes, MD, MPH, specializes in treating patients with heart conditions, including heart failure, structural heart disease, and atherosclerosis, a disease caused by a buildup of plaque that narrows the heart’s arteries.
Dr. Haynes utilizes advanced diagnostic tools, such as chest CT scans and myocardial biopsies, to develop effective treatment plans and recommends cardiac rehabilitation services for patients recovering from major heart procedures.
Dr. Haynes is an assistant professor of medicine at Yale University School of Medicine. She is also an affiliate professor at the Yale Institute for Global Health.
