Mayer J. Hasbani, MD, PhD, is a neurologist in private practice in New Haven, Connecticut. He received his MD and PhD from Washington University School of Medicine in St Louis, Missouri. He completed his residency in neurology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, followed by a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology at Yale New Haven Hospital in Connecticut. He is board certified in neurology,clinical neurophysiology, and headache medicine.
Dr Hasbani is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, American Headache Society, and the American Association of Neuromuscular & Electrodiagnostic Medicine. He is a fellow and board member of the International Academy of Independent Medical Evaluators.
He is primary investigator for several clinical trials including Alzheimer disease, migraine, and spasticity studies. He has authored or coauthored articles published in peer-reviewed journals such as Neurology, Multiple Sclerosis and Related Disorders, and Case Reports in Neurology.
