Lauren Pepin, APRN

Lauren started her nursing career in 2006 at Bridgeport Hospital (BH) where she worked in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit and Rapid Response Team for 5 years before becoming the Critical Care Nurse Educator for the BH ICU's. She became certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2013 and started working for Internal Medicine Hospitalist Service at BH, and was the department's' lead APRN until she decided to transition to outpatient pulmonary practice in 2018.She joined Pulmonary & Internal Medicine Associates (PIMA) in 2018 and developed a clinical interest in the diagnosis and treatment of moderate to severe asthma. PIMA joined NEMG in February 2022. She became certified in Sleep Medicine in 2023 and will now also see patients for the diagnosis and treatment of obstructive sleep apnea. Lauren will see patients with any variety of lung problem including but not limited to asthma, bronchiectasis, COPD/emphysema, ILD, lung cancer, chronic cough. Lauren and her husband live locally and have two young daughters.
