Lauren B. DiBenedetto, DDS

Lauren DiBenedetto, DDS, FAAPD, is originally from Westchester, New York. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University and then went on to earn her DDS degree from New York University College of Dentistry. After graduating dental school, she moved to Connecticut to complete her two-year residency training in Pediatric Dentistry at Yale-New Haven Hospital (YNHH).

Dr. Lauren has over a decade of experience in private practice and hospital dentistry. She joined the faculty at the YNHH Pediatric Dental Department in 2015, where she is now employed as the Clinical Director and Coordinator for Dental Outreach. Dr. Lauren is a Diplomate and Fellow of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry as well as a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Connecticut State Dental Association and the Connecticut Society of Pediatric Dentists. She received a Standard Proficiency Certification in Lasers issued by the Academy of Laser Dentistry in 2016.

Dr. Lauren is passionate about serving the Greater New Haven community and promoting oral health in the local public schools. She is involved in state and national level advocacy as well. She also enjoys spending much of her professional time teaching dental residents at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Dr. Lauren believes in compassionate, gentle and evidence based dentistry and cares for her patients as she would her own children.

Dr. Lauren lives in Southbury, CT with her fellow dentist husband, two children dog & cat. She enjoys running, cooking, reading and traveling with her family.
