Hilary Cestaro, APRN specializes in pediatric otolaryngology and sees patients at Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital’s Pediatric Specialty Centers. With over 12 years of nursing experience, ten of them in general pediatrics and pediatric emergency medicine, her career has been rooted in caring for children and supporting them and their families through health challenges.Hilary says, “I was initially drawn to pediatrics because of my genuine love for children and my passion for caring for them. I value the opportunity to care for patients and their families during vulnerable moments through compassionate and supportive care. In the pediatric emergency setting, I regularly cared for children with a variety of acute and chronic otolaryngological conditions. These experiences inspired me to specialize in pediatric otolaryngology as a nurse practitioner. I am drawn to the specialty’s blend of clinical complexity, procedural care and continuity of care, and I enjoy the ability to make a positive impact in a child’s life.”Hilary earned her Master of Science in Nursing as a family nurse practitioner at Quinnipiac University and her bachelor’s degree of Nursing at Central Connecticut State University.
