From tasty treats to meet and greets; self-care to selfless acts; relaxation to recognition; hand-written notes to musical notes, appreciation took many forms during Yale New Haven Health’s fourth annual 10 Days of Gratitude May 7-16.
The celebration, which included Nurses Week (May 6-12) and Hospital Week (May 10-15) honored the more than 30,000 employees and medical staff who make up our health system.
The 10 Days featured leader rounding, numerous wellness activities, music and pet therapy, volunteering opportunities, special awards and more. Employees enjoyed a “meal on us” and 10 Days of Gratitude gift from YNHHS, along with daily prize drawings and a digital selfie board to share their photos of themselves and their team members.
Special thanks to Human Resources, Volunteer Services, Nursing, Employee Safety and Well-Being, Food and Nutrition, Digital and Technology Solutions, Spiritual Care, Corporate and Government Relations, Marketing and Communications and the many other departments who made the 10 Days a huge success!
