YNHHS leaders recently celebrated the opening of the newest urgent care center in Clinton.
Yale New Haven Health recently celebrated the opening of its newest urgent care location at 21-B Killingworth Turnpike, Clinton.
The location has seven exam rooms, an onsite testing lab with same-day results and offers care 24/7 via telehealth.
In addition to Clinton, Yale New Haven Urgent Care operates more than 20 locations across Connecticut and New York. A clinic is expected to open in Branford in the spring.
YNHHS’ urgent care centers can treat wounds, sprains, strains and burns, along with pediatric injuries and illnesses such as strep throat, ear infections, eye infections and flu. The centers can also complete school, camp and sports physicals; and treat and perform X-rays for dislocated joints, fractures and pneumonia.
Yale New Haven Health Urgent Care goes beyond the traditional urgent care model by providing on-demand, convenient care to help patients navigate complicated healthcare issues; offering locally staffed, 24/7 telehealth; and helping patients coordinate and access care beyond their visit by communicating with primary care physicians and coordinating specialist care when necessary.
Yale New Haven Health Urgent Care locations are open 8 am to 8 pm weekdays and 9 am to 5 pm weekends and holidays.
