Yale New Haven Health System (YNHHS) and Yale School of Nursing (YSN) recently announced the appointment of Mary Kay Wegman, APRN, DNP, as senior director of Clinical Affairs and Partnerships at YSN. In partnership with YNHHS, Wegman will lead initiatives to expand academic-nursing practice collaboration, including development of an Academic Practice Fellowship, advancement of nursing workforce innovation, and implementation of joint initiatives that strengthen nursing education, professional development, quality improvement, evidence-based practice and the clinical learning environment for nurses across the health system. Before assuming her current role, Wegman was associate director of Clinical Operations, Yale Center for Clinical Investigation.
