Epic upgrade June 8
Take advantage of available resources to prepare for upgrade changes:
- Add the Epic Training Portal, epic.ynhh.org, to favorites. From there, click the blue “Applications & Support Material” dropdown, then “Epic Upgrade.” Here you’ll find resources detailing key changes with the upgrade, including training slides, tip sheets, webinar information and more.
- Navigate to ServiceNow and click “Knowledge Base.” In the search bar type “Epic Upgrade.” Articles are sorted by User Role. Click to launch PDF attachments within the article for more details on the upgrade.
Remember to keep an eye on your Learning Home Dashboard in Epic by clicking the Tip Sheet button in your Hyperspace Toolbar.
Visit Retirement and Financial Wellness events for helpful resources
Are you looking for information related to your retirement benefits? Do you have questions about your savings plan or financial strategies? Visit one of these Retirement and Financial Wellness information events:
- Bridgeport Hospital, Bridgeport Campus: Tuesday, June 10, 7 am – 2:30 pm, Fresh Inspirations Café
- Yale New Haven Hospital Saint Raphael Campus: Wednesday, June 18, 7 am - 2:30 pm, cafeteria
Representatives will be on hand from the YNHHS Retirement and Employee Financial Wellness Team, Fidelity Investments and Bank of America to share information on available resources for retirement planning, financial strategies and understanding your savings plan. Plus get an overview of the Your Pension Estimator tool.

Free hernia screenings at YNHH and L+M
Free hernia screenings will be held 9 am - noon on two Saturdays: June 7 at the Digestive Health Center at 8 Devine St., North Haven, and June 14 at Pequot Health Center, 52 Hazelnut Hill Road, Groton. Physicians will evaluate anyone 18 and older; followup care can be scheduled if needed. Registration is recommended; visit ynhhs.org/event.
