After months of renovations, Bridgeport Hospital unveiled an updated lobby dining experience with the opening of the Eat Café and Micro Market. The new spaces expand convenient dining choices for staff, patients and visitors.
Eat Café features weekly made-to-order specials; a pizza and salad station; and an updated coffee shop designed for quick service without sacrificing quality. The Micro Market offers grab-and-go meals, snacks and beverages. It will be open around the clock with badge access for employees working night shift hours.
“We consistently heard from our teams that they needed more flexible food options, and these additions are a direct response to that feedback,” said Dan Walsh, vice president of Support Services and Facilities.
“Updating and modernizing our dining spaces ensure staff and visitors have fresh, convenient choices that support their well-being throughout the day and night,” added Rae-Lynn Salisbury, Sodexo food service director.
