This photo from early September shows the ANC atrium under construction. YNHH employees and medical staff members are invited to a special event in the atrium Nov. 17.

All Yale New Haven Hospital employees, medical staff members and volunteers are invited to get a sneak peek at the new Adams Neurosciences Center (ANC) 3:30-7 pm Tuesday, Nov. 17, 667 George St., New Haven.

Employees, medical staff and volunteers at both campuses may drop by any time during the event to explore the stunning new ANC atrium and enjoy giveaways and a few fun surprises. With the George Street Garage temporarily closed, SRC parking is limited. York Street Campus employees are encouraged to take the hospital shuttle to and from the event.

At more than 500,000 square feet, the ANC will feature four advanced neurosurgery operating rooms, 184 single patient rooms, rehabilitation services, advanced neuroimaging that includes Connecticut’s first PET-MRI system and a serene outdoor sanctuary garden. It is scheduled to open to patients in February.
