The George Street Garage at Yale New Haven Hospital’s Saint Raphael Campus is closed for renovations and repairs to restore the 50-plus-year-old parking facility. Parking has been shifted to the Orchard Street Parking Garage.
The George Street Garage will be completely closed during the first phase of the work, expected to take approximately 4.5 months. After this first phase, the garage will reopen during the remaining work.
Information for staff
All staff previously assigned to the George Street Garage now have badge access to the Orchard Street Garage. Employees should contact the Parking Department at [email protected] with questions.
Information for patients and visitors
Departments that depend on the George Street Garage for patient access are informing patients and visitors to use the Orchard Street Garage South. Signs are directing patients and visitors to the second level for a reserved patient- and visitor-only section. The Orchard Street Garage South main entrance is at 583 George St., New Haven.
