From May 7 - 16, Yale New Haven Health will hold its fourth annual “10 Days of Gratitude” to honor the more than 30,000 employees and medical staff who make up our health system. The celebration will include Nurses Week (May 6 – 12) and Hospital Week (May 10 -16).
Throughout the 10 days, employees will again be able to participate in random prize drawings, be inspired through daily quotes and learn tips on cultivating gratitude. Also returning this year are special events at each delivery network, wellness webinars, the “Excellence in Action” awards and Raves and Kudos.
This year, YNHHS is introducing daily gratitude challenges, offering opportunities for all employees to participate and connect with one another. We are also excited to announce a partnership with a new vendor that will offer a selection of gifts and an improved distribution experience to ensure every team member feels appreciated. In addition, we’ll roll out a new, convenient option for all employees to receive a complimentary meal, recognizing their dedication and hard work throughout the year.

During last year’s 10 Days of Gratitude, Greenwich Hospital’s Pediatrics department gave a gift basket to their colleagues in Labor and Delivery. This year’s 10 Days of Gratitude, May 7 - 16, will also feature gestures of kindness, special gifts, wellness activities and much more.
