Northeast Medical Group physicians on “Best Docs” List

New Haven, CT (June 4, 2019) – 51 Northeast Medical Group (NEMG) physicians and more than 395 from across Yale New Haven Health System, which also includes Bridgeport Hospital, Greenwich Hospital, Lawrence & Memorial and Westerly Hospitals, have been selected by their state colleagues for Connecticut Magazine’s 2019 Best Doctors listing.

“Every day, our doctors provide high-quality and compassionate care to their patients,” said Prathibha Varkey, MBBS, president and CEO of NEMG. “It is an honor and privilege to work side-by-side with these skilled and talented professionals every day."

Ranking is based on a regional peer-review survey. Licensed physicians vote online for those doctors who, in their judgment, are the best in their field and related fields.

The list includes physicians from Bridgeport, Greenwich, Lawrence + Memorial and Yale New Haven hospitals, as well as Northeast Medical Group and Yale Medicine and surpasses the more than 870 providers achieving “Top Doc” status last year. The list will appear in the May issue of Connecticut Magazine.
