New Haven — Yale New Haven Hospital was recognized by the Hartford Business Journal as one of the "Best Places to Work in Connecticut," in the large company category, earning the number three spot on this year's prestigious ranking. The statewide survey and awards program was created by the Hartford Business Journal five years ago to identify and recognize the best places of employment - public or private, for-profit or non-profit - in Connecticut.
The 2010 Best Places to Work in Connecticut list includes 25 companies — 20 companies with under 200 employees and five companies with more than 200 employees. A national, third-party research firm conducted a thorough workplace assessment process, evaluating each company's workplace policies, practices, benefits and demographics, as well as employee engagement and satisfaction.

A gift in bloom: the Auxiliary donates the Sanctuary Forest to enhance the Adams Neurosciences CenterNew Haven, CT (October 17, 2025) – The Yale New Haven Hospital (YNHH) Auxiliary has made a funding pledge to help create the Sanctuary Forest that will serve as a restorative space for patients, loved ones and staff and the Adams Neurosciences Center on the hospital’s Saint Raphael Campus. Construction of the Neurosciences Center, the largest project of its kind in the state’s history, is about 75 percent complete.
