BRIDGEPORT, CT (Sept. 10, 2021) – The Bridgeport Hospital monthly community food distribution will take place Tuesday, Sept. 21, starting at 5:30 pm in the lot behind 200 Mill Hill Avenue.
One prepacked bag of food per household will be provided while supplies last. Each bag will contain a dozen eggs, half-gallon of milk, a variety of fresh vegetables and loaf of freshly baked bread. All those in need are welcome and bags will be distributed while supplies last. Masks and social distancing are required.
The event is held in partnership with Wade’s Dairy, FreshPoint CT and Chabaso Bakery in Bridgeport.
Food distributions occur year-round on the third Tuesday of each month. Over 3,700 households have been served by the food distribution program since May 2109. Upcoming dates include Oct. 19, Nov. 16 and Dec. 21. For more information, contact Gina Smith at 203-200-3719 or [email protected]
