By appointment only. COVID positive or suspected positive patients will be scheduled for end of day blood draw appointment.

Blood draw services for newborns through adolescents are available at the Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital Pediatric Specialty Centers. Blood draws are performed by specially trained and skilled pediatric staff. Child Life Specialists are available to provide developmental and age appropriate distraction techniques.

Per current YNHHS COVID protocol, all patients (>age 2) and caregivers must wear a face mask. All patients and caregivers will be screened for COVID symptoms or exposure when scheduling the appointment and again upon entry to the clinical site, including temperature. Current visitation guidelines allow for one adult (>18 years) to accompany the patient to the visit.
