Driving Directions to Yale New Haven Hospital, Saint Raphael Campus
Visitors to the Yale New Haven Hospital Saint Raphael Campus may park in the following locations:
- George Street Garage/Main Entrance (629 George St.): Patients and visitors may park 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Hourly and daily rates are available. There is a direct connection to the hospital on several floors of the garage. 24 hours per day / 7 days per week.
- Orchard Street Garage (323 Orchard St.): Patients and visitors may also park in the the garage located across the street from the Saint Raphael Campus Emergency Room. A covered pedestrian bridge connects the garage’s second floor to the hospital’s Orchard Street entrance. Hours are 6 am - 11 pm, weekdays; closed on weekends.
Surgery patients: Please use the George Street Garage (629 George St.), Level 3A. The garage connects directly to the hospital on two floors. Remember to bring your garage parking ticket with you. There will be one parking validation per patient at time of discharge from the recovery room. Patients and visitors may park 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Hourly and daily rates are available.

From the front entrance of the New Haven train station, turn right onto Union Avenue. Go past the City of New Haven Police Department (on your left), and at the second light from the train station, turn left onto MLK Jr. Boulevard. At the seventh traffic light, turn right onto Orchard Street. After the first light you will see a garage to your left and another to your right. Visitor parking is available in the 850-space garage attached to the hospital, or in a 500-space complex on Orchard Street across from the Emergency Department.

Parking is reserved for Emergency Room patient parking only; all other patients and visitors will be asked to park at either the George or Orchard Street garages.
- The Emergency parking area has attendants. They will issue you a ticket to return upon leaving.
