Endoscopy patients should use the Orchard Street Garage South, main entrance at 583 George St., Level 2. Follow signs to the pedestrian bridge. Report to Security located next to the elevators.

Due to ongoing construction and limited garage parking availability, patients and visitors are strongly encouraged to use our valet parking at 1450 Chapel St., New Haven, CT. Valet is available 5 am – 7 pm and costs $10 first hour; $3 each additional 30 minutes; $22 for 7 hours; 7- 24 hours for $25.

If needed, you may drop off your patient at 1450 Chapel St. then self-park at the Orchard Street Garage, entrance at 583 George Street, New Haven, CT in the designated patient and visitor parking spaces. Self-parking costs $1 per hour up to 7 hours; $20 over 7 hours.

From the Orchard Street Garage, take the Floor 2, South Side pedestrian bridge and follow signage to the George Street Garage Elevators. Take the elevator to Floor 1 and follow signs to the McGivney Surgery Center. For more information, contact our parking office at 203-915-0089.

Park at the new Saint Raphael Campus Orchard Street Garage. For GPS use 583 George St, New Haven. Park on the South side and take Floor 2, South Side pedestrian bridge to Verdi Surgery Check-In.

Short-term patient and visitor parking is available at the Orchard Street Parking Garage, 583 George St. Charges are $1 per hour for 4 to 7 hours; up to $20 for 7 to 24 hours.

Long-term patient and visitor parking is available at discounted rates. Patients expected to be hospitalized for more than one week should discuss parking options with their social worker.

Patient-only Emergency Department parking is available in designated spaces in the Orchard Street Garage. Patient parking is free for up to 3 hours in designated garage spaces. After 3 hours, vehicle owners are charged the short-term parking rate. See parking attendant at ED entrance for a ticket for the free, 3-hour parking.

Your doctor will determine when you are ready to be discharged from the hospital. He or she will write your discharge order and, along with other members of your team, will provide instructions about continuing care and recovery at home.

The Ronald McDonald House of Connecticut

The Ronald McDonald House is a place where families can stay while their child is being treated at the hospital. A referral from a hospital staff member is required before a family can register as a guest at the House. A modest fee is charged per night.

YNHH offers transportation from the hospital to the Ronald McDonald House. Please call Protective Services at 203-688-2500 in advance of the time you would like to leave.
