    Biography - Dorothy J. Gaal, MD

    Dorothy J. Gaal, MD, specializes in pediatric anesthesiology, focusing on providing anesthesia for children undergoing various types of surgery, including complex procedures like liver transplants.

    In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Gaal is an assistant professor of anesthesiology at Yale School of Medicine. Passionate about international medicine, she has participated in more than 30 medical missions to provide surgical care for children around the world.

    Dr. Gaal received her medical degree from the University of Minnesota. She completed her residency in anesthesiology at the University of North Carolina and a fellowship in pediatric anesthesiology at Boston Children's Hospital.
