Effective Sunday, July 12, Yale New Haven Health will upgrade Kronos, the current timekeeping and scheduling system, to the newest version, called UKG Pro Workforce Management (WFM). This change is necessary because the existing Kronos system is nearing end of life.
Much like Kronos, the new WFM will be used to track time, manage schedules and record attendance; however, WFM will also offer new capabilities to simplify and enhance employees’ and leaders’ experiences. Advantages include:
- Easy-to-use, intelligent tools for creating and managing employee schedules more efficiently
- Enhanced timekeeping features to reduce the burden on employees and leaders while maintaining compliance with labor regulations
- Mobile-friendly options so staff can view schedules, submit time-off requests and track hours anytime, anywhere
To ensure a smooth transition, employees should complete WFM training in the Learning Management System (LMS) and visit the UKG Pro WFM intranet site for detailed information.
