Get ready! Epic Secure Chat is coming
On Sept. 9, Yale New Haven Health will transition from the Mobile Heartbeat application to Epic’s Secure Chat for messaging and calling. Secure Chat will be accessible through Epic's Rover and Haiku applications on existing mobile devices; chatting will also be accessible via desktop. This new activity within existing Epic applications offers a seamless, efficient clinical communication solution which includes calling, individual/group messaging, broadcast messages and alerts.
To prepare for the transition, employees are encouraged to visit the Epic Secure Chat website for webinar schedules, training materials, FAQ, a video and more.
