NEW HAVEN, CT — Vincent Tammaro has been appointed as executive vice president and chief financial officer for Yale New Haven Health System and chief financial officer for Yale New Haven Hospital (YNHH).
“As an outstanding leader in his field and a member of Yale New Haven Health since 2002, we are very excited Vincent will bring his wealth of experience to his new position,” said Marna P. Borgstrom, president and CEO, Yale New Haven Health System and CEO of YNHH. “Vincent is an accomplished executive who understands our system, culture and the unique aspects of Connecticut-based health care financing and delivery.”
Tammaro began at YNHHS in 2002 as director of financial reporting and earned the promotion to senior vice president of corporate finance in 2012. During his YNHHS tenure, Tammaro has integrated financial leadership with operations and played a key role in initiatives such as the Saint Raphael acquisition and integration. In 2014, he completed a GE Health Management Academy fellows program.
A graduate of Pace University’s School of Business, Tammaro began his career at Sound Shore Medical Center in New Rochelle before joining Ernst and Young as a practicing certified public accountant.
