The Yale New Haven Health Radiologic Technologist Residency Program offers clinical training and didactic education through its Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging. The program provides a unique paid opportunity for board-certified radiologic technologists to further their careers by receiving advanced modality training and certification without any loss of income.
Yale New Haven Hospital offers clinical training and didactic education through its own School of Diagnostic Ultrasound. A 13-month General Sonography (Abdominal Extended and Obstetrics & Gynecology) program or a 12-month Adult Echocardiography program are available. The programs are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Programs (CAAHEP) and a certificate is rewarded at the completion of the program. Learning concentrations are offered in Vascular Sonography and Pediatric Echocardiography as well.
