Dr. Alaparthi was born and raised in India and attended JJM Medical College in Karnataka, India. After moving to the United States, she completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Yale School of Medicine’s (YSM) affiliated program through Norwalk Hospital and her Gastroenterology/ Hepatology training through Yale University.
She joined a community Gastroenterology practice (PGC) and remained in practice for nearly 22 years until July 2023. She was appointed as Associate Chief Medical officer for Bridgeport Hospital Milford Campus and Digestive service line. She will begin seeing patients at Park Avenue Medical center in early 2024.
