Dr. Shia is a Board-Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in sports and reconstructive surgery of the shoulder and elbow. Dr. Shia performed his residency training in orthopaedic surgery at Washington University in Saint Louis. U.S.News and World Report ranked Washington University as the #2 Orthopaedic Residency Program in the country in 2015. While at Washington University, Dr. Shia was involved in the care of the professional sports teams including the St. Louis Rams NFL team and the St. Louis Blues NHL team.
