Employees put their hearts into Habitat homes

Employees from throughout the hospital are happily picking up hammers, drills and other tools to help build homes on Vernon Street for two deserving families. YNHH employee volunteers are joining the future homeowners and other Habitat for Humanity volunteers in constructing the houses, the seventh and eighth Habitat homes sponsored by the hospital. Ana Rodriguez, a YNHH transition coordinator, will occupy one of those homes with her son. On a recent Saturday, Abe Lopman, Ryan Davis, Victor Rodriguez, Ana Rodriguez, Augusta Mueller, Susan Lipka, Mike Loftus, Ryan Loftus, Susan Lopman, Cathy Gautot and Daniel Urban worked hard and had some fun on the Habitat homes. If you would like to volunteer on your own time for these or other Habitat for Humanity projects, visit the website.
