Puttin' on the red

All over Connecticut, Yale New Haven Health System employees showed their support for women's heart health by donning their best crimson couture on Feb. 3, National Wear Red Day^®. According to the American Heart Association, heart disease is the number one killer of women. Events at various YNHHS locations, including YNHH's York Street and Saint Raphael campuses, featured information about heart disease and keeping the heart healthy, blood pressure screenings, giveaways and, at each YNHH campus, a drawing for a Fitbit. Winners were Shagunna Muse, YSC Breast Center, and Melina Raucci, SRC Emergency Department.
