Pre-retirement workshop Feb. 13

A pre-retirement workshop will be held 8 am - 4 pm Tuesday, Feb. 13, Selina Lewis multipurpose room. Employees may attend on work time with manager approval. The workshop will cover estate planning, YNHH retirement and Social Security benefits, Fidelity Investment options and maintaining a healthy lifestyle in retirement. Upcoming holiday services schedule

Spiritual Care will hold the following services to mark Ash Wednesday and Lent:

• York Street Campus chapel - first floor, South Pavilion: Ecumenical services at 9 am and noon, with ashes distributed in the chapel 9 - 10 am, noon - 1 pm and 3 - 4 pm. Ashes will be distributed on patient care units throughout the day.
• Medical Center South: atrium - 3 pm
• Saint Raphael Campus chapel - Main 1: Mass at 7:30 am and noon, with ashes distributed 8 am - 4:30 pm. Ashes will be distributed on patient care units throughout the day.

• YSC chapel: Wednesdays at noon; Sunday at 9:30 am
• SRC chapel: Monday - Friday at 7:30 am and noon; Saturday at 4 pm; Sunday at 7:30 am

YNHH Auxiliary scholarship program open to local students

The Yale New Haven Hospital Auxiliary is offering 10, $2,000 scholarships for 2018 to area students planning to pursue careers in a health-related professions. Scholarships are based on academic excellence, financial need, personal statement and community service, including school and community activities and/or employment. Applicants must live in one of these towns: Bethany, Branford, Cheshire, East Haven, Guilford, Hamden, Madison, Milford, New Haven, North Branford, North Haven, Orange, Wallingford, West Haven or Woodbridge.
