Know Your Numbers Plus 2022 launching soon

Start logging personal choice activities now

The Know Your Numbers (KYN) Plus employee well-being program officially launches in May, although well-being should be a focus year-round.

Through KYN, benefits-eligible employees hired on or before Aug. 14, 2022 who are enrolled, or expect to enroll in, the YNHHS Medical Plan for 2023 can earn up to $500 credit toward their 2023 medical premiums for completing selected activities, including a biometric screening and personal choice activities.

While the on-site biometric screenings will begin in May, the Virgin Pulse portal, where employees will document their KYN information, is open now for employees to log personal choice activities as they complete them. Eligible personal choice activities completed since Oct. 1, 2021 can be documented now for credit toward this year’s KYN program.

“Employees can get a head start and begin logging in their personal choice activities right away,” said Amy Woznyk, director, Employee Safety and Wellbeing. “For example, if an employee had a dental exam on Dec. 1, 2021, they can go to the Virgin Pulse site now and document the visit for $50 credit toward the total credit of up to $500.”

To document activities for KYN credit, access the Virgin Pulse site from the employee intranet (Resources/Applications) or visit join.virginpulse.com/ynhhs. For quick access on the go, download the free Virgin Pulse app from the Apple Store or Google Play.

The table below lists this year’s eligible personal choice activities and their credit value for KYN Plus participants. Use the Rewards tab in Virgin Pulse to find details on each personal choice activity and track earned credits. Employees may participate in as many personal choice activities as desired, but the maximum credit is $500. Any credit earned by completing KYN personal choice activities will remain “locked” until completion of a biometric screening.
